Lore sacrifices a biologically enhanced Follower of Khan and at such close range a devastating volley is unloaded into the USS Enterprise which is unable to evade the attack and is destroyed. Victory to the Maquis/Independents!

As Picard engages both smaller and more maneuverable ships pass the Enteprrise easily. Lore comes about into the rear arc of the Enterprise as Eddington awaits an opportunity to fire his rear arc torpedos into Enteprises starboard section.

The end-game nears as both Maquis ships hide from the victor of the Cardassian and Federation battle over the second moon, Picards USS Enterprise. The huge Federation ship having taken some crippling damage is limping towards the two Maquis rebels and their Raiders.

Dukat and Picard engage one an other with the Cardassian coming off worst. Some bad luck for the Cardassians means the USS Enterprise destroys Dukats vessel before closing in on the Maquis.

Dukat powers past the slower but more maneuverable Maquis fighters to engage the Enteprise giving both Maquis ships time to prepare for whichever ship emerges from that fight. Eddinton readies torpedos and prepares his crew and Lore returns his vessel to normal power. Both hide in the darkside of the third moon awaiting the victor of Picard vs Dukat.

The Enterprise loops around the third moon as the Defiant, still crippled, attempts to stop drifting away and out of the action.

Excellent strafing fire from the Maquis leave the Defiant in a bad way as it drifts towards the table edge unable to do much else except hope it can re-engage its engines before it drifts into deep space.

Sars Warship emerges from the orbit of the second moon to enage the rebellious Maquis and the Federation. Combined fire from both Picards Enterprise and Siskos Defiant cripple the ship before Eddingtons rear arc Torpedos see off the stranded Cardassian ship.

In a flurry of fire and tight maneuvering Voyager is dispatched by Dukats Warship but not soon enough to save Danar who fled the field.

Janeway flees with two Keldon class Warships in pursuit, a tight turn has saved Voyager but will it be enough to evade both Cardassian ships.

ENGAGE! Eddington sneaks into the rear arc of the Defiant and Lore tackles it head on. Lore is too busy sacrificing the Follower of Khan to his own nefarious ends to notice the Enterprise emerge from the moons sensor scrambling orbit.

From a different view the Cardassians sweep around the third moon to purcue Voyager and Sisko and Picard hunt down the evasive Maquis rebels.

With ships strewn all across the Sector Khans damage to Janeways Voyager and his subsequent destruction gives the advantage to the Cardassians who press and force their way into the centre of the sector. They have divided the Federation fleet and destroyed Khans S’Gorn

The two Maquis Raiders captained by Lore and Michael Eddington engage the Defiant. There’s no love lost between Ben Sisko and Michael Eddington.

Voyager flees as Dukat and Danars Keldons pursue her behind the second moon. In the background the USS Enterprise and USS Defiant engage the Maquis rebel raiders of Lore and Michael Eddington.

Voyager is under Auxiliary Power as tackling enemies in her rear arc proves problematic. She attampts to limp away behind the second moon.

Khans S’Gorn is detroyed in a barrage of phaser fire from the Three Keldons and Voyager. First blood to the Cardassians.

USS Enteprise lurches forward to engage the Maquis with Sisko’s Defiant hot in pursuit.
Khan destroys Voyagers shields and sneakily beams Tribbles onto Voyager.

Khan strafes USS Voyager and comes about but find himself in the forward arcs of three advancing Keldon Class Warships and the rear arcs of USS Voyager and USS Enetrprise.

The Cardassians switch their attention from the Maquis to the Federation as Dukat and Danars Keldons turn to engage Picard’s Enterprise.

Khan and Cyrano Jones attack Janeways Voyager as Picards Enterprise-D holds the centre of the sector.

Having been spotted the Maquis enter into a tight low orbit hoping to shake off their Cardassian hunters and their wider maveuver arcs.

The nine ships close in. Sisko uses the moon to obscure his movements as Khan and Janeway close in on eachother and the Maquis attempt to flank the Cardassian Fleet.
Tonights game at NAGA was supposed to be Owen Cartwrights Federation fleet (the same one I used last week against Klingons) versus my Mirror Universe fleet however the US Postal Service has let me down so I was forced to use a different fleet, my Independents. As we setup another player, Daniel, asked if he could join so I lent him my Cardassian Triple Keldon fleet from last weeks other battle against Klingons. This ended up quite thematic as the Maquis (two thirds of my Independent fleet) are a thorn in the side of both the Cardassian Union and the Federation.

Following reports of increased Maquis activity in the Badlands a fleet of Federation ships were sent to investigate led by Ben Sisko. Orders are to intercept and apprehend Michael Eddington a former Deep Space 9 crew member. Fearing the Federation would once again sweep activity of the Maquis under the carpet the Cardassian Union led by Gul Dukat also sent a wing of Keldon class Warships to destroy the Maquis and anyone supporting them.
The Maquis have stolen the Orb of Time from Bajor and using its temporal powers attempt to open a rift to the past to defeat the Cardassian Union before they establish the DMZ. Before the Maquis can send their ships back a ship emerges from the rift from 80 years previous. Khan Singh had broken free from prison with Cyrano Jones and stolen a Gorn vessel and emerges from the rift. Sensing an opportunity he allies with Lore on the Gavroche and Michael Eddington on the Val Jean to use his superior intellect to aid them and defeat the Cardassian Union if they will help him get revenge on the Federation for his imprisonment.
As the Maquis fleet entered the sector the two Maquis vessels moved to flank the Cardassians as Khans scans revealed Federation ships and he attempted to engage them. The Federation split their forces with Janeways USS Voyager moving to meet Khan, Picards USS Enterprise-D holding the middle of the sector and Sisko’s USS Defiant attempting to maneuver behind the Cardassian ships to intercept the Maquis. The Cardassians moved forward and ominously not showing their hand yet.
Two of the Cardassian ships appeared to peel away to chase down the Maquis rebels before sharply turning and attacking the battle involving Khan, Janeway and Picard. Whilst the third, Sar’s, crept around the second moon taking a long slow orbit to sneak up on the Defiant and the Maquis.
Khan and Janeway jousted as Khan stripped Voyager of her shields before coming about behind her to ready his final blow. As he did so the three Keldons joined the fray and just after he had beamed Tribbles aboard Voyager he was cut down in hail of Cardassian fire allowing Janeway to limp away damaged and on Auxiliary Power to regroup behind the third moon.
The Maquis vessels took a low orbit behind the first moon ready to sweep in and attack Sisko and his Federation colleague Picard.
Gul Dukat and Gul Danar changed course and began to chase down Janeway in Voyager. The rear firing of Janeway allowing her to do enough damage to Danar to force him to peel away and flee the battle lest he be destroyed but not before Dukat and Boheeka were able to tear Voyager in two in a devastating display of firing.
On the other flank Lore and Eddington engaged the Federation. Lore busy sacrificing his crew for his own nefarious ends and Eddington taking his Federation trained crew of Tuvok and Torres into battle against Eddington’s former commanding officer Sisko.
A dual attack from both Maquis vessels crippled the Defiant leaving it adrift and heading away from battle…..without actions and maneuvers battle took its toll on the Defiant and she was forced to flee the sector to return another day.
Combined fire from both Federation vessels severly damaged the Cardassian ship under the command of Sar before a volley of torpedos from the Val Jeans rear arc destroyed the stranded and cripples Cardassian vessel.
A dual attack from both Maquis vessels crippled the Defiant leaving it adrift and heading away from battle…..without actions and maneuvers battle took its toll on the Defiant and she was forced to flee the sector to return another day. Disengaging the Enteprrise who had by now also taken heavy damage the two Maquis laid in an intercept course for the sole remaining Cardassian Warship led by Dukat.
Meeting in the high orbit of the third moon Dukat evaded the worst fire of both Maquis vessel and powered past the slower and more maneuverable Maquis Raiders but this took him towards the Enteprise which had now steadied herself and prepared to re-enter the battle. A tense battle over the second moon between Dukat’s Keldon and Picard’s Enterprise took place and when the smoke had cleared the USS Enterprise emerged victorious through the exploding Cardassian Warship.
The Maquis prepared and laid their plan as they hid in low orbit behind the third moon. As the USS Enterprise engaged both ships deft manuevering allowed Lore to come about behind the Enterprise and Eddington to have readied torpedos to fire from his rear arc. Before Eddington could fire Lore fed some more Followers of Khan into his Gavroche mincing machine to overpower his primary weapons and at such close range a swift end was in store for Picard as his ship was destroyed.
Victory for the Maquis and their temporal ally Khan!
